Book a hearing test

One appointment, about, and you leave knowing what your hearing is doing. If you do not need a device, we will tell you so.

How to book

Choose whichever is easiest. You will speak to a person, not a sales line.

Request a callback `` — if you would rather ask a question before booking, or you are arranging this for a parent and want to check the details first.

What to tell us

So we can book the right appointment, it helps to know:

  • who the appointment is for, and their age;
  • what you have noticed — the television, the phone, groups, ringing, balance, one ear or both;
  • whether a doctor has referred you;
  • whether a home visit is needed because travelling is hard.

You do not need a doctor's referral to book a hearing test. If a doctor has referred you, tell us — we will report back to them.

What happens after you book

  1. We confirm your appointment. ``
  2. You come in (or we come to you). The test is painless and takes about ``.
  3. We explain the result the same visit. You see your audiogram and hear what it means in plain language.
  4. Then, and only then, do we discuss any device — and only if the test indicates one.
  5. You leave with a recommendation you can take away, or with a clean bill of hearing. Both are complete outcomes.

What it will not be

  • Not a same-day pressure sale. You are not asked to decide on the spot.
  • Not a catalogue. We do not begin with devices; we begin with your hearing.

Bring someone with you if you like

If you are booking for a parent, you are both welcome. The person who will wear the device is the person who has to be comfortable with the recommendation — and often the person who notices is not the person who wears it. Bring whoever needs to be part of the decision.

Tell us how you found us

So we can serve families better, we ask one short question when you book: "How did you hear about us?" `` It helps us know what is working, and it is the single most useful thing you can tell us.
